I created a Chrome OS flash drive for a Chromebook. The most popular Chrome OS is provided from Cloud ready. They provide their own automatic USB installer but, it didn't work on my laptop. So, I tried to create USB installer manually. First, download a proper Chrome OS. and add an extension which name is Chromebook Recovery Utility on my laptop's Chrome. I can make USB Installer using this extension. Once you completed all the instructions, you can get Chromebook which is operated by the flash drive.

Then, I connected my SSD and Chromebook flash drive on a machine. I didn't need to install Chromebook on the SSD. The only one I need is the USB which contains Chrome OS.

It is really convenient because I can bring only USB for starting Chromebook and use it anywhere.
