Today, I did 5 tasks: System monitoring software, network monitoring software, running benchmark application, restoring system and the task related to partitioning.
At first, I tried to install 'Nagios' application which is for system monitoring but, there is a built-in program for monitoring overall system and network. This program name is 'System monitor'.
I searched benchmark application for Ubuntu, and found the application 'netperf' I installed it from Terminal using 'sudo apt-get' command. Netperf is network performance benchmark application and it can be used to measure the performance of many different types of networking.
I used 'Backups' program which is a built-in utility on Ubuntu. it provides backup and restoring file.
I figured out that Ubuntu doesn't use drive letters. And because I am using Raspberry Pi and SD card instead of normal machine and hard drive, I couldn't create additional partition. However, I can resize the partition via 'Disks' program.
