For the practical assessment 2, I chose to make a chrome book. The reason why I chose this is that, except for IT workers and special industry workers such as musicians or video creators, ordinary office workers and students use web surfing rather than other functions of the computer. Also, I used to edit documents or surf the web with my laptop before taking the computer classes. Now my laptop is almost full of many class files and iOS files. This made my laptop slow down. So I will make a Chrome book using a new hard drive and use it to surf the web.

To make a chrome book, I went to the chromium OS site and downloaded the OS file. It is about 1GB in size and smaller than other OS files. I made a flash drive from the downloaded OS file using Rufus.

In the next class, I will install OS on bare drive.
